| Obverse description | Bearded male bust of Autophradates II facing right, wearing a distinctive satrapal or royal headdress adorned with upright projections, rendered in the local Persis artistic tradition combining Achaemenid and Hellenistic elements. The portrait displays pronounced facial features including a thick curled beard and strong brow. A short sceptre or staff appears in the left field behind the bust. The flan is irregular and slightly off-center, characteristic of hammered coinage of this period. |
