Reverse description Bearded head of Dionysos facing left, distinguished by a wreath of ivy or vine leaves atop his disheveled hair, which falls in thick, engraved locks around his face. The full beard is rendered with fine parallel striations conveying naturalistic texture. To the left of the portrait, the partial Greek ethnic inscription NAΓI is inscribed in the field, identifying the issuing city of Nagidos. The die is crudely but expressively cut, consistent with provincial Cilician coinage of the early fourth century BC.
