Reverse description A large ornate cross fleury with a central rosette fills the interior of a cusped quadrilobe frame, its four limbs extending to the edges of the quatrefoil compartment. Each quadrant of the cross is decorated with fleurs-de-lis and lions passant, reflecting the Burgundian and Flemish dynastic heraldry. Small heraldic motifs — including shields, lions, and trefoils — are scattered throughout the spandrels of the quadrilobe. The outer field between the quadrilobe and the beaded border contains additional heraldic embellishments. The circumferential legend in Gothic uncial script runs between the inner and outer beaded borders, carrying the devotional Scriptural text from the Gospel of Luke.
