Reverse description A bold cross pattee divides the reverse into four quarters, with a four-petalled rosette or lily motif at the center intersection. The arms of the cross extend to the inner circle, creating four distinct fields. A circular Latin legend runs around the periphery, interrupted by the arms of the cross. The execution is characteristic of mid-15th century Flemish hammered billon coinage, with slightly irregular striking.
