Below the emblem, a three-line inscription reads ЭТИХ ДНЕЙ НЕ СМОЛКНЕТ СЛАВА. Surrounding the inner circle in the outer border, the names of ten key Civil War battle sites are inscribed in Cyrillic running continuously around the rim.
