| Obverse description | Standing helmeted allegorical figure of Roma in high relief, depicted on the prow of a warship sailing over waves, her left arm extended holding a torch or small Victory figure, her right hand grasping a legionary standard topped with military insignia. A she-wolf on a pedestal appears in the mid-field to the right. Engravers' signatures incuse along the hull of the ship in the lower field. |
