To the right, a multi-line commemorative legend occupies the upper field. In the centre-right, a detailed high-relief depiction of a vintage rotary desk telephone is the primary design motif. The dates 1928 and 1978 appear in large numerals to the left of the telephone, and the issuer's name is rendered in bold relief along the lower border.
