Reverse description The reverse depicts the orbital rendezvous of Gemini 6 and Gemini 7, with two spacecraft rendered in high relief in three-quarter profile, Gemini 7 in the foreground and Gemini 6 behind, set against a field scattered with stars and a crescent moon. In the lower exergual area, three hallmarks are struck directly into the field: an oval fineness mark reading '925', a lozenge-shaped Italian State assay mark for the Milan district, and a small oval maker's mark of unidentified attribution.
