Obverse description High-relief depiction of a butcher's workshop, struck after an etching by Jan Luyken and his son Caspar (first published 1694). The scene shows several figures in period dress engaged in slaughtering: a large carcass lies in the foreground being dressed by a crouching worker, while a second figure works at a rack in the background and a third figure observes from the right. The field is fully occupied by the pictorial composition with no legend.
