Reverse description The reverse features a large wreath of oak branches with acorns framing a central text panel bearing a quotation from Camilo Castelo Branco. A decorative ribbon scroll inscribed '21º encontro' runs across the lower portion of the wreath. The circular legend along the rim reads 'BANCO DE PORTUGAL · DIA DO REFORMADO' at the top, and 'Lisboa, 03 · Abril · 2004' at the bottom. The engraver's signature 'F. Couto Esc.' appears at lower left.
