| Obverse description | The obverse displays the crowned civic arms of the City of Berlin, Canada, in relief: a shield bearing a beaver flanked by oak and maple branches, surmounted by a royal crown above a scroll inscribed CITY OF, with a lower scroll reading BERLIN and the legend CANADA beneath.
