Obverse description The field features two sets of bold concentric semi-circular ridges in high relief, one in the upper half and one in the lower half, converging toward the central round hole — an abstract design by artist Yaacov Agam evoking the menorah and the duality of heaven and earth. The Hebrew legend ויהי אור flanks the central aperture in the middle field. A secondary Hebrew inscription appears vertically along the left inner rim.
