Obverse description The obverse features a central design of nested geometric frames enclosing a circular element, flanked by two Masonic tools (a key and a trowel or similar implement), with the word ONE above and PENNY below the central device. The outer legend reads THEY RECEIVED EVERY MAN A PENNY around the upper periphery, with CANADA along the lower border, all within a beaded rim.

Reverse description The reverse displays a circular peripheral legend around the rim identifying the issuing lodge, with multi-line text in the central field recording the chapter's institution date of 15th June 1854, its transfer to the Grand Chapter of Scotland on 3rd July 1900, and its affiliation with the Grand Chapter of New Brunswick, all in raised relief within a plain border.
