The legends are struck in low relief on an irregular flan with rough, oxidized surfaces characteristic of hammered copper issues of this period. No decorative borders or ornamental devices are present, consistent with the utilitarian character of small-denomination Ottoman copper coinage. Die wear and surface encrustation partially obscure portions of the inscription. |
