| Beschrijving voorzijde | Obverse of this wire money (cheshуika) depicts an armored equestrian figure — traditionally identified as St. George or the Tsar as warrior — shown in right profile astride a horse, brandishing a spear or lance downward toward a serpent or prostrate foe beneath the horse's hooves. The rider wears a crown atop his helmet, a characteristic device of Muscovite kopecks of the early Romanov period. The flan is irregular and elongated, typical of the hammered wire-planchet technique, with the design unevenly struck across the surface. Partial Cyrillic mint letters МО/СКВА (Moscow) appear in the field, identifying the issuing mint. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Reverse bears a multi-line Cyrillic legend disposed across the entire field of the irregular flan, occupying five to six lines without a central pictorial device, in the established tradition of Muscovite wire money. The inscription names Tsar and Grand Prince Mikhail Fedorovich of All Rus, the first Romanov ruler, in the formulaic titulature standard to his coinage. Individual letters are boldly engraved in an archaic semi-uncial Cyrillic hand, with characteristic ligatures and abbreviations. The strike is slightly off-center, as is common to hammered wire coinage of this period, leaving portions of the legend partially visible at the flan edges. Dots punctuate the final line of the legend. |
