| Reverse description | The entire reverse field is occupied by a multi-line Cyrillic inscription arranged horizontally across the oval flan, a format standard for Russian wire kopecks of the early Romanov period. The legend reads the full titulature of Tsar Mikhail Fyodorovich, identifying him as Tsar and Grand Prince of All Rus. The bold, raised Cyrillic lettering is rendered in the angular, compact hand-engraved style typical of early 17th-century Moscow Mint dies. Due to the small and irregular flan, portions of the legend are frequently clipped at the edges. The inscription fills virtually the entire available surface, leaving no decorative border or additional devices. |
