| Obverse description | Crowned equestrian figure of the tsar depicted in right profile, mounted on a galloping horse and holding an upraised spear (kopye), from which the denomination derives its name. The mintmark letters ПСРЗ appear beneath the horse's hooves, identifying the Pskov mint and the date in Cyrillic numeral coding. The design is executed in the characteristic schematic style of Russian wire money, with the image confined to a small, irregular flan produced from a cut silver wire blank. |
