正面描述	Bare head of the young Herakles facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with naturalistic modeling of the facial features. The hero's scalp is enveloped in the lion's skin headdress, with the animal's mane and pelt rendered in detailed relief cascading behind the neck and over the crown of the head. The musculature of the face and jaw is boldly executed, consistent with the finest Tarentine die-cutting of the period. The field is plain, with no legend or additional devices.

背面描述	Taras, the eponymous founder-hero of the city, depicted as a charioteer driving a prancing biga to the right, clad in a flowing chlamys and brandishing a trident in his raised hand. The two horses are shown in energetic motion with finely detailed musculature. Beneath the horses, two amphorae serve as ground-line devices. In the exergue, the magistrate's name appears in Greek letters: NIKAP.
