| Descrizione del rovescio | A quadripartite incuse square dominates the reverse, divided into four triangular sections by raised ridges meeting at the centre, with alternating sections showing contrasting rough and smooth surfaces. This standard mill-sail or windmill incuse pattern is characteristic of early Greek coinage struck by the hammered technique, serving both as a functional feature of the striking process and as a decorative element. The incuse is deeply impressed and well-centred on the small irregular flan. No legend or additional devices are present. |
