| Reverse description | Deep quadripartite incuse square with diagonal divisions creating eight alternating raised and recessed triangular compartments, forming a pinwheel or skew pattern characteristic of early Greek coinage struck by the incuse punch technique. The incuse is sharply impressed and nearly square in outline, with the eight-part division meeting at a central point. The compartments alternate between raised and sunken surfaces, producing a strong chiaroscuro effect. No legend or additional device is present. |
