| Obverse description | Bearded male bust facing right, wearing a distinctive satrapal or royal headdress adorned with a diadem, rendered in a style blending Hellenistic and local Perside artistic traditions. The facial features are bold and pronounced, with a heavily bearded chin rendered in a series of small curled locks characteristic of Persid coinage. The headdress rises prominently above the forehead and is tied with a diadem whose ends fall behind the neck. The portrait fills the flan with confidence, reflecting the standard iconographic type for the unattributed early rulers of Persis. No legend is present in the field. |
