| Reverse description | Standing figure of the king facing right in the central field, rendered in a frontal-body, profile-head stance typical of Persis reverse types. A prominent star within a crescent appears to the right of the figure, a recurring astral symbol on coins of this dynasty. Aramaic legends encircle the design within a beaded border, identifying the ruler. The engraving style is characteristic of the hammered coinage of the late Persis kingdom. |

Nambed ruled Persis as a vassal under Parthian suzerainty, and his coinage reflects the diminished status of the kingdom by this period — local dynasts issuing fractional silver rather than the fuller denominations of earlier Persis rulers. Alram 601 and Sunrise 624 both place this type within a sequence that shows progressive stylistic degradation from the finer work of the first century BC.
