Obverse description Helmeted head of Athena in right profile, wearing a crested Attic helmet adorned with relief decoration along the bowl. The goddess's facial features are rendered in archaic Greek style with a pronounced jaw and almond-shaped eye. The cheek guards of the helmet frame the face, with locks of hair visible beneath. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, typical of hand-struck silver coinage of the Lycian dynastic period.
