Reverse description Head of Hermes facing left, wearing a winged petasos, rendered in relief within a deeply recessed incuse square with a beaded or dentillated border. Lycian script characters are visible in the left field and lower field of the incuse square, reading the dynastic name or mint identifier. The modelling of the face and winged cap is confident and characteristic of Lycian dynastic workshop production of the early fourth century BC.
