Obverse description Radiate facing head of Helios, turned slightly to the right, rendered in high relief with characteristic wavy locks radiating from the crown of the head. The face displays the refined Hellenistic style typical of Rhodian coinage of the period, with strongly modelled features. The design fills the compact flan with the deity's visage dominating the entire field.
