Reverse description A quadripartite incuse square dominates the reverse, formed by two intersecting diagonal grooves dividing the surface into four raised triangular compartments, a standard reverse type employed on early Kyzikene electrum fractions. The incuse is deeply impressed and sharply defined, with each quadrant presenting a slightly convex surface characteristic of the hammered technique used during this period. No inscription or additional device is present. The reverse exhibits the typical irregular planchet edge of archaic struck coinage from western Asia Minor.
