Reverse description A quadripartite incuse square divided into four recessed compartments of unequal depth, creating a windmill or swastika-like pattern in relief and intaglio. This distinctive incuse punch is characteristic of the Kyzikene electrum hekte series and was produced by a single composite punch applied to the blank reverse. The surface within the recesses shows granular texture from the striking process. No inscription or secondary device is present. The incuse design is consistent with archaic Greek monetiform practice for electrum fractions.
