Beschrijving voorzijde	Facing gorgoneion depicted with protruding tongue, rendered in archaic style with characteristic wide eyes and serpentine hair; below the gorgoneion, a tunny fish oriented to the left serves as the civic emblem of Kyzikos, a recurrent device on the city's electrum coinage. The design is struck in high relief against a plain field, with the irregular flan characteristic of early hammered electrum issues.
