A tunny fish, the civic badge of Kyzikos, is depicted vertically to the right of the figure with its head pointing downward. The design is rendered in the bold, archaic style characteristic of early fifth-century electrum coinage from the Propontis region. The field is plain, with no inscription or exergual line. |
