| Beschrijving voorzijde | A double-bodied sphinx rendered in relief, depicted with a single frontal head adorned with an uraeus (ouraios) crown, the two leonine bodies flanking the central head in heraldic symmetry. Beneath the composite creature, a tunny fish is shown swimming to the left, a characteristic civic badge of Kyzikos appearing on numerous denominations of this series. The design is executed in the bold, archaic style typical of early Kyzikene electrum coinage, with strongly modelled forms filling the irregular flan. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A deep quadripartite incuse square occupying virtually the entire reverse field, divided into four recessed triangular sections by raised diagonal ridges meeting at a central point, creating the characteristic windmill or skew pattern. The incuse is sharply struck and deeply impressed, consistent with the early archaic hammered technique employed at Kyzikos. The surface of the flan shows the natural granular texture of the electrum alloy. No inscription or subsidiary device is present. |
