| Obverse description | Facing gorgoneion (Gorgon's head) depicted en face in high relief, rendered in the archaic style with broad, grimacing visage, wide-set eyes, and a protruding tongue. The head is framed by a wreath of coiling serpents, their undulating bodies encircling the entire design field. The treatment is characteristic of the bold, apotropaic imagery favoured by Phokaian die-engravers of the late Archaic period. |

| Reverse description | Incuse square divided into irregular compartments by raised ridges, forming an asymmetric mill-sail or quadripartite pattern typical of early electrum coinage from the eastern Greek world. The incuse is deeply struck and uneven, reflecting the primitive punching technique employed during the Archaic period. The surface within the compartments shows granular texture consistent with the hammered production method. No inscriptions or subsidiary devices are present. |
