Obverse description Forepart of a rooster advancing to the left, rendered in bold archaic relief with crest and wattles clearly articulated. Beneath the rooster, a tunny fish is depicted in profile, oriented downward and to the left — a characteristic Kyzikene control mark and civic emblem. The composition fills the flan compactly, typical of the Kyzikene hekte series, with the tunny serving as the mint's identifying symbol across its extensive electrum coinage.
