| Obverse description | Bearded male head in left profile, believed to be the effigy of the Odrysian king Hebryzelmis, rendered in a bold archaic-influenced style with flowing hair swept back from the brow. The portrait displays strong facial features including a prominent nose and short beard, with hair rendered in fine incised striations. The head is set centrally within a raised incuse circular border, the flat field around it forming a shallow concave depression characteristic of hammered Thracian bronze coinage of this period. |
