| Aanvullende informatie |
Juan II of Navarre occupied a uniquely complicated position — king consort of Navarre through his wife Blanca I, then ruling in his own right after her death in 1441 while simultaneously serving as king of Aragon from 1458. The Navarrese nobility never fully accepted him, and the civil wars fought between his factions and those of his son Carlos de Viana disrupted minting activity significantly across this period, making consistent production of small silver coinage erratic at best.
The long date range on this issue reflects political turbulence rather than continuous output.
