Obverse description Abstract Celtic design featuring a cruciform arrangement of three prominent crescent moon symbols radiating from the centre of the flan, their horns oriented outward. The interstices between the crescents are filled with lozenge-shaped pellet-in-annulet motifs, while clusters of pellets occupy the angles of the composition. The overall design is highly stylised in the late British Iron Age tradition, with the bold relief elements distributed evenly across the irregular flan.
