| Descrizione del dritto | Plain, uninscribed field displaying bold diagonal raised banding derived from the abstract decomposition of a Macedonian-style laureate head. Two faint annular ring devices are visible within the field, remnants of the stylised wreath elements common to this series. The surface is unmarked by legend or inscription, consistent with the purely abstract Celtic artistic tradition of the Atrebates and Regini. The flan exhibits the characteristic irregular hammered edge typical of British Iron Age quarter staters. |
