The upper field bears three pellets or annulets arranged across the flan, while the central area is dominated by two large concentric-ring roundels flanking a smaller spiral motif, all suggestive of a face or helmet. The lower portion of the field displays three wheel or star-shaped ornaments with radiating spokes and central pellets, separated by a foliate or branch-like dividing element. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded or rope-twist border. The field is unlettered, consistent with pre-dynastic Trinovantian coinage of the mid-first century BC. |
