| Obverse description | Stylised abstract design derived from the classical wreath motif, rendered in the La Tène artistic tradition. A central pellet line is bisected perpendicularly by a projecting spike or hairbar, forming a cross composition with a ringed pellet at the intersection. A wreath border encircles the central field, with leaf terminals directed downward above the hairbar and upward below; flanking linear crescents, symmetrically disposed about the hairbar, are joined by an arc and terminate in ringed pellets. Standing hair-curl ornaments occupy the angles behind the wreath in the outer field. |

| Reverse description | A stylised horse advancing to the right in the characteristic British Celtic manner, featuring a large rump, an elongated sinuous neck, a pellet-form mane, a double tail, and a distinctive dog-leg articulation on the second foreleg. A bold ringpole device — a ringed pellet — is attached to the breast of the horse as a defining type element. A wheel symbol occupies the upper field above the horse, while two ringed pellets are disposed in the lower field beneath the animal. |
