An outer dotted border ring encircles the entire design, consistent with Ilkhanid fals typology. The inscription reads 'La ilaha illa Allah / Muhammad rasul Allah' (There is no god but God / Muhammad is the messenger of God), rendered in a somewhat cursive hammered style. The flan shows greenish-grey patination with areas of copper-red exposed at high points. |
