| 表面の説明 | Central field enclosed within an inner circle bears three abbreviated Kufic-style Arabic characters arranged in two lines. A partially legible circular legend runs clockwise in the outer margin, reading: السلطان الملك الظاهر بحلب ثلث سنة, identifying the sultan al-Malik al-Zahir (Barquq) and referencing the Aleppo (Halab) mint. The inscription is characteristic of late Mamluk epigraphy, rendered in a cursive Arabic script on an irregularly shaped flan typical of hammered copper coinage of this period. |

| 裏面の説明 | Central device consists of a fleur-de-lys motif enclosed within a double circle with ornamental cable connectors joining the two rings at intervals. Four small pellets (pearl dots) are distributed symmetrically in the field surrounding the central device. The overall design is purely decorative and non-epigraphic, a common convention for the reverse of Mamluk copper fals coinage. The cable border lends a rope-like ornamental frame to the composition, consistent with Aleppo mint issues of the late fourteenth century. |
