At the centre, a small circle is surrounded by four dots arranged cardinally, with two triangular ornaments completing the geometric composition. The overall arrangement is characteristic of the geometric and architectural decorative vocabulary employed on Mamluk copper coinage of the mid-fourteenth century. |

The entire design is enclosed within a plain outer circle serving as a border, a layout typical of Mamluk fals coinage struck at provincial mints during the sultan's second reign. |
