| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field bearing the Arabic honorific legend al-Malik al-Nasir ('The Victorious King'), referring to Sultan al-Nasir Muhammad I, rendered in bold hammered Naskh-style Arabic script. The inscription occupies the full face of the flan, arranged in two horizontal lines across the field. The coin exhibits the characteristic irregular flan shape and slightly uneven strike typical of Mamluk copper coinage of the late thirteenth and early fourteenth centuries. The surface shows a dark patina with areas of olive-brown earthen deposits consistent with extended burial or circulation. No decorative border or inner circle is discernible. |
