Reverse description Central field bearing a partially legible Kufic Arabic inscription within a raised inner circle, likely referencing the governor's name or mint authority. The script is rendered in angular early Kufic style consistent with Abbasid provincial fals coinage of the early 4th century AH. The surfaces are heavily worn and encrusted, rendering full transcription of the legend difficult. An outer border follows the irregular cast flan, and the overall fabric is coarse, as typical of cast copper issues from this period.
