| 表面の説明 | King Vasudeva I depicted standing facing left in royal robes and elaborate flame-shouldered crown, holding a trident in his right hand and making an offering over a small altar at lower left. The figure wears typical Kushan royal attire with boots and belted tunic. The Bactrian legend ÞAO NANO ÞAO BAÞOΔHO KOÞANO, meaning 'King of Kings, the Great Kushan King', runs around the periphery of the field. The style is characteristic of late Kushan hammered coinage, with bold if somewhat crude relief on an irregular flan. |

| 裏面の説明 | The Hindu deity Oesho (identified with Shiva) depicted standing facing, wearing a crown with two projecting elements, holding a trident upright in the left hand with the right hand raised in a gesture of benediction or holding an attribute. A small bull (Nandi), Shiva's sacred mount, is visible in the lower right field. The Bactrian inscription OηÞO identifying the deity appears to the right in the field. The reverse exhibits the characteristic syncretic Kushan iconography blending Iranian and Indian religious traditions. |
