| Obverse description | Radiate head of Helios facing three-quarters right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with curling hair swept back beneath the radiating crown of solar rays. The youthful, idealized facial features are depicted in high relief with a smooth, rounded cheek and well-defined chin. The neck is bare and the effigy occupies the full flan, with no legend or border. The treatment of the rays, fanning broadly to the left in a distinctive splayed arrangement, is characteristic of the Rhodian plintophoric series. |

A six-pointed star is positioned in the lower left field, and a small rose bud appears to the right. The magistrate's name ΣΤΑΣΙΩΝ is inscribed in Greek letters above the rose along the upper border of the incuse square, identifying the eponymous magistrate Stasion responsible for this issue. |
