Reverse description Central Zoroastrian fire altar depicted in full, with stepped base and elevated flame, flanked by two standing attendants facing inward, each wearing a Sasanian crown and court dress. The figure at left and right serve as fire altar guardians, a standard Sasanian reverse type symbolizing dynastic legitimacy and religious authority. A short Pahlavi mint or regnal inscription appears in the field. The entire composition is contained within a beaded border, executed in the characteristically flat yet detailed hammered relief of late fourth-century Sasanian coinage.
