| Obverse description | Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with carefully engraved flowing hair partially concealed beneath a laurel wreath of naturalistically detailed leaves. The facial features are youthful and idealized, with a straight profile, well-defined eye, and subtly modeled chin. The neck is bare and truncated at the lower border of the flan. The overall execution reflects the high artistic standard characteristic of late 4th-century Ionian coinage. |
