| 背面描述 | A forepart of a rose with two open petals displayed prominently at centre, the civic emblem of Rhodes. To the left stands a small figure of Helios or a deity in the field. The magistrate's name ΠΕΙΣΙΚΡΑΤΗΣ is inscribed in Greek letters along the upper arc of the reverse, while the ethnic abbreviation ΡΟ appears in the lower field beneath the rose, identifying the issuing city. The design is characteristic of the Rhodian plinthophoric drachm series struck under the authority of the magistrate Peisikrates. |
