Obverse description Facing head of Helios rendered in three-quarter view, with radiate, wind-blown hair flowing dramatically in all directions around the face. The youthful, idealised effigy displays finely modelled facial features including almond-shaped eyes, a straight nose, and slightly parted lips, all executed in the high-relief Rhodian artistic tradition. No legend appears on the obverse; the entire flan is dominated by the large, expressive head set within a plain field.

Reverse description A forepart of a rose with two open petals displayed prominently at centre, the civic emblem of Rhodes. To the left stands a small figure of Helios or a deity in the field. The magistrate's name ΠΕΙΣΙΚΡΑΤΗΣ is inscribed in Greek letters along the upper arc of the reverse, while the ethnic abbreviation ΡΟ appears in the lower field beneath the rose, identifying the issuing city. The design is characteristic of the Rhodian plinthophoric drachm series struck under the authority of the magistrate Peisikrates.
