Additional information

Pacorus II ruled during one of the more fractious periods of Parthian dynastic history, sharing or contesting power with Vologases III for much of his reign — the exact chronology of their overlapping issues remains disputed among specialists. Sellwood 75.5 falls within the later part of the attributed sequence, and coins of this type show measurable die degradation across surviving examples, suggesting extended use of individual dies rather than frequent replacement.
